Works well on Samsung DeX as well! - Must buy! I got it on sale at 17k ....ultraportable- thin and light weight It works on following Config 1) Laptop With HDMI Connection - requires external Power (u can either connect via Power bank or Included Power charger)... 2)Laptop with USB Connection C - requires no external Power ... 3)Works well on Samsung DeX - you can connect your Samsung Dex Supported Smartphone (Note or S series)....and it works Fabulously! Kudos to Samsung guys for Developing DeX...like literally u can use phone as a laptop! 4)Raspberry Pi can also be connected to Run an Linux Machine! 5)It has Inbuilt speakers Sound Quality is decent I would say something similar to a laptop output ..come on you can't expect 5.1 Ch speaker in this portable device.... 6) Resolution is 1920*1080 good! Overall worth the buy! Review: Good as external monitor. - I liked the overall quality, but desertcart dropped price by 1000 just in 2 hours after I purchased it. Why me ?? Pros: 1. Quality product from well know brand 2. Connectivity : hdmi and usb-c 3. USB C to A cable can power monitor from your laptop or desktop, just use 'eco' mode to lower power consumption. I prefer USB A and HDMI cable combo as my laptop dosen't have usb-c. Please note:. Not every USB C port on your laptop would have support for display. In that case USB C would just draw power from laptop. Tested the powershare feature, it would charge phone like a standard 5V charger. ## Features - ULTRA-PORTABLE DESIGN: anti-slip cover, metal case, and aluminum stand, reliability is embodied in the design. - FULL HD 1080P RESOLUTION: This monitor features Full HD 1920x1080 resolution for unbelievable pixel-by-pixel image performance. You’ll experience the most amazing clarity and detail whether it be while working, gaming, or enjoying the latest in multimedia entertainment. - VERSATILE CONNECTIVITY: In addition to dual USB Type-C ports with charging, this monitor also features mini HDMI and a 3.5mm headphone jack for plug-and-play connectivity to a variety of multimedia devices. - BUILT-IN STAND: A convenient built-in stand enables you to orient the screen in both portrait and landscape modes | Warranty: 3 years standard on-site warranty - 2-WAY POWER WITH USB TYPE-C: Dual USB Type-C ports deliver audio, and video over a single cable. What's more, these USB Type-C ports also deliver two-way power: a connected laptop can power the monitor, or the monitor can power a connected laptop via USB-C power bank or AC adapter and outlet. - Supports Vertical Layout : Besides common horizontal content, you may setup a pivot screen for table-reviewing, programming, photo-editing, gaming, etc. - Magnetic Cover and Mat : Avoid damage during carry, the detachable magnetic cover is easy to put on. Used as a mat, its anti-slip surface prevents the monitor from sliding away. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B087792CQT | | Adaptive Sync | FreeSync | | Aspect Ratio | 16:9 | | Best Sellers Rank | #48,280 in Computers & Accessories ( See Top 100 in Computers & Accessories ) #648 in Monitors (Computers & Accessories) | | Box Contents | CD Display, Power Cable (1.5m), HDMI Cable (1.5m), Quick Start Guide | | Brand | ViewSonic | | Brand Name | ViewSonic | | Cable Length | 15.6 Inches | | Color Gamut | 0.6384962 | | Colour | Silver | | Compatible Devices | Laptop | | Customer Reviews | 4.4 out of 5 stars 1,546 Reviews | | Display Technology | LCD | | Display Type | HD IPS | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00766907007091 | | Hardware Connectivity | 3.5mm Audio, USB 3.1 Type C, mini HDMI | | Has Color Screen | Yes | | Image Brightness | 250 | | Importer Contact Information | ViewSonic Technologies INDIA Private Limited ,GST number 33AABCV7912Q1ZV Address: No.25/14 B-8 GEMS Court., Khadher Nawaz Khan Road., Nungambakkam Chennai -600006 | | Item Dimensions D x W x H | 1.5D x 22.4W x 35.6H Centimeters | | Item Type Name | Monitors | | Item Weight | 1.8 Pounds | | Manufacturer | ViewSonic, ViewSonic Corporation, 10 Pointe Drive, Brea, CA 92821, USA | | Manufacturer Contact Information | ViewSonic Corporation, 10 Pointe Drive, Brea, CA 92821, USA | | Maximum Display Resolution | 1920 x 1080 Pixels | | Model Name | VG1655 | | Model Number | VG1655 | | Mounting Type | Desk Mount | | Native Resolution | 1920 x 1080 | | Network Connectivity Technology | HDMI, USB Type C | | Packer Contact Information | ViewSonic International, 192, Lien Chen Road Zhonghe Dist. But I got the genuine product on time. The packaging could be better, but acceptable ## Frequently Bought Together - ViewSonic VG1655 15.6 Inch 1080p Portable Monitor with 2 Way Powered 60W USB C, IPS, Eye Care, Dual Speakers, Built-in Stand with Magnetic Cover - Anker USB C Hub, 5-in-1 USBC to HDMI Splitter with 4K Display, 1 x Powered USB-C 5Gbps & 2×Powered USB-A 3.0 5Gbps Data Ports for MacBook Pro, MacBook Air, Dell and More - ViewSonic VA1655 15.6 Inch 1080p Portable IPS Monitor with a Built-in Stand, Mobile Ergonomics, USB C, Mini HDMI and Protective Case for Home and Office,Black --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/381575855-viewsonic-vg1655-16-inch-40-6-cm-portable-monitor-fhd](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/381575855-viewsonic-vg1655-16-inch-40-6-cm-portable-monitor-fhd) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
