Both are 4"wide, and both have a center hole or 'core' of 1" But one has 125 feet and the other has 250 feet per roll. It also comes in a narrower roll, I believe about 2" wide, which is what I have. I hope this helps, but perhaps contacting the manufacturer would provide a more definitive answer, in the event that I am missing something. **Q: What does pm999 mean? are there different grades or types of parafilm? does the number refer to the size of the tape , or its permeability?** A: PM999 is the model number. The box, on the top; Dispense Parafilm Through This Opening. On the side says; For Use In Your Dispenser. At the bottom on the side; a slot says 'pinch here' for a dispensing slot. The Parafilm must be cut, the size you need, off anyway.
