This cape is made of a silky, polyester material. Length-wise: it comes down to the bottom of my knee caps when sitting down (I’m 6 feet tall). Width-wise: it takes my full wingspan (at least 6 feet) to pull it tight when folding it in half. The neckband is broader than most capes I have ever seen. The left and right side of the neckband have 5 snaps each (strong snaps I might add) which gives for a wide range of neck circumference (for reference, I made the cape as tight as possible around my neck and snapped the two buttons together at the center of the back of my neck. I then proceeded to snap the rest of the buttons together until there were none left to snap—the last snaps came together just to the left of the center of the front of my neck). Lastly, the quality of the fabric is very good. This is by no means a flimsy, see-through piece of cloth; it is very strong, very durable.If you need a low-price cape for cutting hair, buy this one. If you need a high-quality cape, buy this one.
