Or do we have to cut to size?** A: yes they are pre cut 6 inch wide by 24 inch long. they work real well. for best results definitely do your prep work. i have these on wood steps going to my basement from an outside door. i washed the steps with soapy water and a rag. then made sure to rinse down the steps with clean water. make sure steps were completely dry. peel backing and laid the tread down from front edge to back edge to keep them flat and centered. Not sure how long have had them down. but very satisfied with the result. definitely do the prep work . **Q: Can you put these on your outside steps in the cold?** A: My answer depends on your location . . . if you are Florida "cold" the treads will preform well . . . if you are Eastern Oregon "cold" as we are, the treads will not adhere and will not preform well; suggestion would be to wait until at least dry and 60 degrees to install for optimum performance. **Q: Want this, but my steps have 11 treads (very common) so a 10 pack is no good. Skipping a step would be a real safety hazard. Do you sell 12 packs?** A: I would not suggest skipping a step to save money at the risk of safety.
