Review: Best dog mattress ever bought - I have bought one similar to this mattress before and it came vacuum packed the same as this but it was absolutely horrendous, even after 48 hours of puffing. THIS mattress more or less sprung out of the vacuum packaging. It was left for 12 hours and it was completely puffed. I bought the bigger one as it is the perfect size for my larger than average Labrador and it is bigger than it needs to be. The depth is more than desirable. I currently weigh 14st and lay on it and it was very comfortable and couldn't feel the floor. It is durable as the cover gets washed 2 or 3 times a week and the mattress inside vacuumed. I'm unsure of the waterproofness of it as we don't have an issue with that but after washing the cover many times I do question the ability to protect the inner mattress from an accident. However for the price and quality of the mattress and the outer cover is comfy and fluffy and washes like a rag, it even goes in the tumble, I would be tempted to buy an extra spare waterproof cover. But this is by far the best bed my dog has had that has lived up to all expectations. Am just about to purchase another for another room.
