Review: fits large hands, soft, great quality - This review is for the 14" outfield model. Let me say that I have very large hands. In regular gloves (batting, winter, etc) I would usually need an XXL. In motorcycle gloves I order a XXXL and sometimes they are tight. I went to a couple big box stores and tried on several baseball mitts from a few different manufacturers, and they were all super tight, most I couldn't get my hand in, so I was worried when I ordered this one online. I ordered this Rawlings in the 14" outfield model. As soon as it arrived I put my hand in and man it fit great; snug but I could get the full length of my fingers into the pockets and my whole hand into the glove. Perfect! Additionally it was already very soft, and while it still needs some breaking in I played a game with it just two days later and made a few nice catches. I'm really impressed with this glove and for the money it's an absolute steal. Review: Comfortable and Game-Ready for Casual Play - I picked up this Rawlings Player Preferred glove for weekend softball games and it’s been a great choice. The 12.5 inch size with the basket web is super versatile. It works well whether I’m in the outfield or just playing catch. One thing I really like is how soft and broken-in it felt right out of the box. There was still a little shaping needed, but it didn’t take much to get it ready for the field. The leather feels solid for the price, and the padded interior makes it comfortable to wear for longer stretches. I’m not a serious player, just someone who enjoys a good game with friends, and this glove gets the job done. If you’re looking for something reliable that doesn’t cost a fortune, this is a great option. It would be perfect for casual players, beginners, or anyone needing a quality backup glove. ## Features - BASEBALL & SLOWPITCH SOFTBALL | Built for recreational players, weekend leagues, coaches, and families who want dependable performance on the field. - GAME-READY FEEL | 80% factory break-in means you can play almost immediately with little to no break-in required. - FULL-GRAIN OILED LEATHER | Durable leather shell with all-leather laces provides lasting performance season after season. - MULTIPLE SIZES & PATTERNS | Available in infield, outfield, first base, and catcher's mitt models to fit your position. - COMFORTABLE, SECURE FIT | Zero Shock palm padding and an adjustable wrist strap help reduce sting and improve comfort through every inning. ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B01GX0AJE2 | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | #1,710 in Sports & Outdoors ( See Top 100 in Sports & Outdoors ) #1 in Baseball Catcher's Mitts | | Brand | Rawlings | | Brand Name | Rawlings | | Break-in Level | Soft | | Color | 1-Piece Closed Web | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.7 out of 5 stars 10,260 Reviews | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00083321192678 | | Glove Type | Catcher | | Hand Orientation | Right Hand Throw | | Included Components | Glove | | Item Type Name | Player Preferred 33" Catchers Mitt | | Item Weight | 1.5 pounds | | Lining Description | Synthetic Leather | | Manufacturer | Rawlings Sporting Goods | | Manufacturer Part Number | PCM30-3/0 | | Material | Faux Leather | | Material Type | Faux Leather | | Mitt Web Type | Fully Closed | | Model Number | PCM30-3/0 | | Model Year | 2017 | | Number of Items | 1 | | Shape | Rectangular | | Size | 33" | | UPC | 083321192678 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Warranty Description | Manufacturer's Warranty | ## Product Details - **Age Range (Description):** Adult - **Brand:** Rawlings - **Color:** 1-Piece Closed Web | Brown - **Global Trade Identification Number:** 00083321192678 - **Glove Type:** Catcher - **Hand Orientation:** Right Hand Throw - **Lining Description:** Synthetic Leather - **Material:** Faux Leather - **Shape:** Rectangular - **Size:** 33" | Catcher ## Images ![Player Preferred Baseball Gloves | Baseball & Slowpitch Softball - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/81rJ5bgapCL.jpg) ## Available Options This product comes in different **Hand Orientation, Color, Size** options. ## Questions & Answers **Q: Could this glove be used in tennis?** A: Sorry I don’t see the use case in which this glove would be helpful in tennis **Q: How do I know what size mitt to get? Whether or not this glove would fit your husband's hand will come down to his personal preference. **Q: Could this glove be used in tennis?** A: No it's not a tennis racket, its a glove ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ fits large hands, soft, great quality *by V***O on June 2, 2026* This review is for the 14" outfield model. It feels great and comes reasonably easy to play with from the get go. I was able to play catch right away and I oiled and worked it afterwards. The glove works in well and softens right up. I’m 65 and only want to play catch and teach kids to play. Rawlings has the been my go to for gloves since the 60’s. You can’t go wrong with them. Your needs may be different than mine, but this glove is a great value and choice. I’m very pleased with it. ## Frequently Bought Together - Rawlings | Player Preferred Adult Ball Glove | Baseball/Slowpitch Softball | Multiple Styles - Rawlings | Official League Recreational Use Practice Baseballs | OLB3 | Youth/8U | 3 Count - Rawlings | GAME READY Glove Break-In Kit | Baseball/Softball | Includes Break-In Formula, Applicator Cloth, & Rubber Band --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/38538419-player-preferred-baseball-gloves-baseball-and-slowpitch-softball](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/38538419-player-preferred-baseball-gloves-baseball-and-slowpitch-softball) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
