I traveled to Italy from the USA recently. Rather than worrying about buying an adapter plug and a converter to bring my normal heating pad (if using a powered device like a heating pad, or hair dryer you need a converter also when traveling to different countries) I simply bought this heating pad that already is made for Europe. No converters or adapters needs. I have back issues and needed to makes sure I had a working heating pad while on vacation. This worked perfectly and the price was the same as I would have paid to purchase all the necessary converters to bring my good old trusty USA heating pad. This worked great. It is a 2 round prong plug and worked in various parts of Italy.
