I had to physically modify some springs to make it run correctly. After 20hrs of run time I had to open up the Chief train and solder the 2nd gear on because it was slipping on the splines. I'm not disappointed as I expected all of these issues. Now it runs pretty darn reliably after all my fixes. I ran my right out of the box and it derailed. Any Advice?** A: On tube track (traditional or o27) you can not use the 027 curves has to be 031 and up if you use it on the 027 curve it has to have the front wheels removed **Q: Will this run with a standard track?** A: By "standard track" I assume you mean O-27. This is O-36 so the wheel flange is a bit taller. The old track's cross ties will get in the way.
