Cats don't get in it they just move around it in my yard and garden. They find spots not covered. So don't think it will keep stray cats out of yard they just jump over it and find another place that is scent free. I was not pleased with product outside although the yard smelled good. Lol **Q: what kind of dry blood is in cat mace ?** A: I have no idea but I’ve spread the stuff all over around my bird feeders and the cats just keep coming!! I bought this product hoping it would provide relief for the cats in my neighborhood. I opened the package and place it around my yard. However, later that afternoon, I finally discovered the ingredients, and to my dismay, it contains PEANUT SHELLS which I’m highly allergic to. Although it may not be one of the primary active ingredients, it still contains it.
