I was initially going to buy another Philips unit but decided to do some research and see what other options were out there. After a couple of months of research I narrowed it down to the Braun Series 9 Pro 9477cc, the Panasonic Arc5 or Arc6 and the Philips S9000 Prestige. The travel charging case is what sold me on the Braun. I’ve used it three times since I bought it. Twice on my face and once on my head. Very happy with the closeness of the shave and how quickly it got the job done. Each shave was with 2 days stubble which is quite coarse. I was concerned with the switch to foils whether this would cause me any discomfort. I’m pleased to say this is mot the case. It’s a very comfortable shave albeit much noisier than my previous shaver. The instructions are just illustrations. If I’m paying for your best product I expect much better. This would probably be my only gripe so far though. Review: Works great! I take it to my trips.
