A: This is just a passthrough adapter so Windows and your BIOS will see just your drive not the adapter.

A: I expect so, since it's supposed to work with all msata drives. I use is with my Crucial M500 240GB mSATA (from Amazon in 2014).

A: NO!    The samsung mzmpc256hbgj-000l1 - 256gb 6gb/s msata mlc solid state ssd is a 52 pin mini SATA SSD, not a MSATA SSD.
