Review: Excellent Blade - After shaving for well over 50 years, I got tired of paying too much money for multi-blade razors and still not get a good shave. I felt funny having to learn how to shave all over again with a safety razor. It was quite a learning process and I've tried a number of different blades including the popular brand that begins with an A. I found the A. . . blade to be very sharp but there was something about it that I didn't like and that was it was not smooth enough. This blade also seemed to lose a lot after the first shave. I finally worked my way around to Wilkinson Sword Blades and was pleasantly surprised to find that not only were they sharp enough but they were relatively the smoothest blade I had ever tried. I don't have a particularly heavy beard but I do have sensitive skin. For the most part, I shave every other day unless there is a special occasion inbetween. I remove the Wilkinson blade that I'm using, rinse it, and dry it after every shave. I change to a new blade every 2 weeks and can easily get 7 or 8 shaves out of the same blade.
