The hook seems a little larger than my last one, but that could just be me. It’s hard to fit a safety chain into the u-bolt on the boat — but again that could be more my boat hook size - I’m not certain. It seems to have a clutch on it. So you can only get it so tight. But overall it seems to work fine.
