It is an infrared camera that tracks the position and orientation of your head, and then sends that data to over 100 TrackIR enhanced games and simulations. The TrackClip, included with every TrackIR 5 purchase, attaches to the brim of a hat or visor and has three retro-reflective markers that direct infrared light back to the camera. When you purchase the bundle, you will also receive the TrackClip Pro, which can be easily installed on almost any headset. The big advantage to the TrackClip Pro is the use of active LEDs (instead of the standard reflectors), making the system even more accurate, and giving it a reach of 1.5 metres (5 feet). Ir light is normal in everyday life, it’s just your eyes cannot see that spectrum of light... Then it’s only just some great. *by A***R on February 28, 2021* It’s definitely a game changer. I really like it. Once you get the settings tweaked it’s almost perfect. I wear glasses... it very often picks up reflections from the screen on my glasses and it makes the screen freak out. Even on the most forgiving sensitivity settings.... which is not constant but it almost always happens at the most intense times during a dcs flight. Like landing on a carrier at night. Or in a 2v1 dogfight.
