My son is passionate about fossils and was thrilled to start digging for them. Unfortunately, he was understandably very disappointed as he only found one small shell fossil, while the rest were just ordinary, uninteresting pebbles. This was disappointing, especially since the packaging created high expectations about the types of fossils he might uncover. Perhaps we were unlucky and received a poor sample, but it didn’t live up to what we had hoped for.
