I do wish I could force it to refresh more frequently or on request especially since I have it hardwired so there should be no reason for it to save power as if it were on the battery. The motion detection seems... imperfect, but I am using it primarily for temp and humidity monitoring which works great. The light sensor and uv are surprisingly useful too. The sensors are: Motion, Temperature, Humidity, Illuminance, UV index, Battery, and device tamper alert. Review: Works very well for motion sensing - I bought this to replace a 5-6 year old SmartThings sensor that was going though batteries like there was no tomorrow. I like that I can plug this device in and don't have to worry about battery usage any longer. I also like that it is a multimodality sensor. I am worried that the temperature senor is not calibrated correctly and I have not found a way to correct this. With the SmartThings motion sensor, it also measured room temperature and there was a way to adjust the device so it more accurately measured the room temperature. The Aeotec device doesn't seem to have a temperature offset. It shows my room about 6 degrees warmer that the other temperature sensing device in my room and it doesn't "seem" to be as hot as the device states that it is. Also, after no movement for a while, when I move and it is dark in the room, there is a momentary flash of light. It is so short it is hard to see, but it is noticeable. I notice it mostly when getting up in the middle of the night for the WC. It's not so bright that it hurts my eyes, but there is definitely a flash. It would be nice of there was not one. I would buy this device again, but those two issues keep it from getting a 5 star rating. The device is much smaller than it appears in the images.
