This subwoofer features a 30oz magnet with bumper plate, vented pole piece, rubber surround and poly-mica cone. This subwoofer is a high end, pro audio transducer optimized for all musical instrument, DJ, car audio and professional applications.

Review: Great sound, excellent value - Very happy with the results. I have 20 year old Jamo D590 speakers. Sounded great once upon a time but the woofers were clearly tired and "crackled", even though there was no sign of damage to the cones or the surrounds. The Jamos have 8" down-firing woofers. I went for this model woofer because my amp is high power (300W into 4 ohms) and the speakers are rated for 200/280 watts short/long term. The result is very pleasing. Nice tight bass, and still detailed.
