Review: Another in my collection - I had been using Pro Tools forever and there is nothing wrong with them at all but I discovered Babyliss when my stylist used it on my hair one day and I noticed how nicely it held my hair but also let go of it when releasing. Since then I have purchased 2 more sizes and I have been happy with all. They heat up FAST and this 1" size works great for beach waves on shorter hair (my 1.25 in barrel was too big to make a good wave since going shorter). One negative to this one and all that I have is the slide power button is constantly getting slid to the off position and I won't realize it and pretty soon I am wondering my my hair isn't curling. That is a design flaw that many mention and it is definitely true. They just need to make it a stiffer slide so it does not move at the slightest touch. Just keep that in mind when you are curling. Otherwise I am as happy with this one as the others.
