I do love these Winrock ones. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great bags, but they "breathe" a little. *by H***R on June 15, 2025* We're trying to phase out all the single-use plastics from our kitchen, and the big hurdle is finding a replacement for Ziploc bags. The Winrock zip-closure silicone bags have become a key part of that effort. The bags are not fully airtight. If you seal them closed, and then squeeze, air will escape from the bag. This means that they're great for things that need to breathe a little bit (like cheeses, or uncut fruits & veggies) but they're not a good choice for smelly things like curry sauces or chopped onion. Cleaning them: I half-fill the bag with hot tap water and then squirt in a bit of soap. I seal the bag, give it a shake, and then let it sit for a while. Then I empty it, rinse it thoroughly, and then (if there's food odor) refill it with hot water (but no soap) and let it stand. I dry them upside down on a bamboo dish rack. I haven't tried running them through the dishwasher yet.
