We all are. They're terrible. This will work with your printer if you're fed up with their direct drive and you're converting it to use a Bowden tube. Be aware that Bowden tube extruders come with their own unique struggles, but they're not as nasty as the A8 Plus's direct drive extruders. Since you're doing this conversion, you'll also need some sort of 24V Bowden-style hotend. It mattereth not a whit whether you go with the left-hand or right-hand version for your printer; you'll mount it wherever you figure it'll be convenient. If I were you, I'd mount it somewhere left of center, but your circumstances may be different from mine. While you're at it, you might as well upgrade your linear bearings to polymer, too, and your control board to one of the many alternatives. Whatever you do, don't screw around; replace that power cable NOW before you burn your printer to a crisp! The one that runs from the power supply to the control board. It isn't big enough for that load, and the crimped terminals sometimes catch fire. Replace it with no less than #16 AWG wire. **Q: Will this fit a Monoprice Mini v2?** A: It's designed for the Creality CR-10, but it's a fairly safe bet that it would fit any bowden printer that uses the same size motor for the extruder, and the same size filament (The creality uses a 42-40 stepper motor, but many other stepper motors have the same spacing between screw holes). Depending on the bracket the motor is attached to, it's possible the screws that come with this part might not be long enough, but replacement screws shouldn't be hard to find. **Q: Is this all i need to upgrade an ender 3 to have a metal hotend for printing petg?** A: You don't need an all-metal hotend for petg usually. The one on the ender-3 will work just fine. The limit of a ptfe tube is around 240-250. Petg prints with a hotend at 230-250 usually, just make sure the filament you buy isn't one of the odd ones that might need higher temps.
