**Q: Can I connect this to my existing Aquatech filter that is running in my tank or do I need a separate air pump?**
A: I would use a separate air pump. The air pump should be powerful to move the propeller fast enough to create the right amount of suction to the unit. Hope that helps.

**Q: Where do you get the biological balls to go into the bottom of it?**
A: You will see them, it comes with the balls in it.

**Q: Can I buy a replacement part**
A: I am not sure. It did not work for us but we had small gravel in our tank.

**Q: How do I clean it?**
A: Pull it out of the water with a catch-all container ready because once it's pulled out of the water the suction lets go and it drains. I drain it into a separate container, but the contraption back in the fish tank and then dump out and wash the yucky water container
