By that I mean it's a solid piece of metal that shouldn't break, bend, twist or snap, if you use it as intended. Single bevel, so perfect edge for lefties. The blade I have is not 100% straight/flat. If you look down the edge, you can see a slight bump in the middle. Doesn't affect the sharpness, and isn't big enough to cause the tool to wander or cut un-evenly. But it is there. It was obviously hand-sharpened, and they rounded the tip off a bit so it's not like a razor point. Very thin and flat, could be difficult to pick up off a work-table. The plastic tip protector is nice, and I'm sure to use it since it's so sharp. After I wear down the edge, I'll probably trim the metal back a bit to make a perfectly straight cutting edge, and then sharpen it. I'm going to see how dangerous it is with a full point.
