Removes Poisonous Plant Oils Removes the rash-causing substance that has bonded with your skin Removes the source of the spreading Removes the source of the unbearable itching If hypersensitive, apply to the entire body We are based in Oregon, surrounded by breathtaking forests. We originally developed Tecnu Extreme for forestry workers and wildland firefighters, who work around poison ivy & poison oak daily. They needed an all-in-one product that would solve the problem quickly and effectively, and help them keep working. Tecnu Extreme Poison Ivy & Oak Scrub was introduced in 2004 and is now the bestselling product in the Tecnu line. Tecnu Extreme’s proprietary formulation contains specific, precise ingredients that are only found in Tecnu Extreme. We are the original. Using an imitation product could exacerbate or extend the problem. Next time use Tecnu Extreme within 8 hours of exposure to the plants, the sooner the better, to remove the rash-causing substance, before the rash has even begun.
