I have been using exclusively Fischer Space pen refills, SPR1 blue or SPR4 black in one of the three 0.9mm fine (F), 1.1mm medium, or 1.3mm bold (B) tips. Unless you drop the pen on concrete the pen does not leak and runs smoothly on all surfaces. I originally carried a Fischer Space pen, but it requires removing the cap before writing. I have carried a Cool Hand EDC pen for several years after replacing the more expensive original Boker model of the same design. I have had several having to replace a lost pens. On one occasion I replaced it only to find the lost pen while vacuuming my car a week later?? I remove the pocket clip and it fits in all my pockets. It surprises most everyone when you pool it out of your pocket to write. Yes I'm old!
