A: Consumer labs found this product had the most lead of all the psyllium products they tested.  It has 11 mcg of lead for every 5 mg of Psyllium.  The two top brands had only 0.4 and 0.58 mcg for every 5 mg of Psyllium.

Our Psyllium Husk Powder is Organic and isn't mixed with other ingredients. It's common for bread to have a slight purple using Organic Psyllium Husk Powder. I hope that helps.

This is a necessary ingredient for keto bread. I bought it because I read that it did not turn your bread purple. But I found that not to be the case. My bread was just as purple as it could be. It did not affect the flavor, so if you don’t mind the looks of purple bread, this would be a good product to use.
