I did not use the toothbrush part for about 6 years. Now using flosser & brush morning & night for about a year. These compact replacement heads are soft bristled & easier to use at back of mouth. The SR3000 is a brush only that vibrates at 30,000 times per minute. I just was to a new dentist since i just moved. First thing she said was "ok, you are going to be my number one patient this week", since my 8am appt was a monday morning, and asked about my at home routine immediately. Try a sonic toothbrush.
