It has a wonderful smell but it is soft and not overpowering at all. Honestly when I first started using it I thought it was unsented.This for me is perfect because I get migraines and scent can be an issue. But I am not affected by this scent at all.The lotion itself smooths in the skin so nicely. The fact that it's probiotic I feel like it helps the good bacteria on my skin that I might have killed while showering but it totally could be a placebo.One thing that has been a down side is we have had at least one of the bottles explode when the back part broke open instead of having any come out the hole in the bottom. It got all over everything and was a new bottle. I'm not sure if the bottle was just flawed or if it built pressure as it was shipped to us.
