Review: Keep your trailer watertight - I bought the Dicor brand, because it was the most recommended on the internet and when my local RV dealer wanted hundreds of dollars to reseal my trailer, this was the brand they were going to use. Instead, I bought it off desertcart for half the price they wanted for a tube at the shop, and did it myself. The sealant goes on very smooth and even. It’s clear, so it dries with a shine, but it’s not too noticeable. It is very gooey, so I brought a few rags and some water to clean and run off, as it can get pretty messy if you’re not careful. I have. 22’ trailer and it took me 2 tubes to seal around the windows, door, and base of the rv. The tube goes a long way, but I was very liberal applying it. Keeping the rv watertight is the most important thing you can do to preserve your trailer, so it’s well worth the cost and I wouldn’t skimp on a lesser brand.

**Q: Is dicor clear cap sealant non leveling**
A: I tried to level it on my metal roof, very challenging but looks ok

**Q: Can this be used for caulking rv windows?**
A: Hi- it can - I used it to caulk my RV windows, but it is shinny -- go with the white and tape off molding with painters tape.

**Q: Will this work if there's Styrofoam inside? Will it resolve the styrofoam?  This is for the roof of our pop up camper.  Thx**
A: Safe to use.

**Q: This can be used to patch vertical and horizontal?**
A: From the above description, USE: Paintable sealant helps seal perimeters of RV windows, entry doors, compartment doors, and joints.  That said I did the entire exterior of my Lance 1181 truck camper with the clear product total of four tubes.  It turned out excellent.  Do not do it in the sun. I did one side one day when the sun was on the other side of the camper and then the other side the next day when it was in the shade. Lots of prep work, many helpful videos all over YouTube.  I recommend.

I found the quality of this product excellent compared to the other major brand tried. Both adhesive and weathering properties were great. Applied it several months ago and have not noticed any shrinkage or wear and applied area is constantly in direct sunlight.
