The one qualm I have about the product is its application. It’s a liquid or an oil substance that dispenses from a plastic “pen” that I sometimes feel might harm my dog if he tries to lick it. It’s never actually happened so my paranoia is yet unjustified. The oil is applied length wise from the base of the neck to about 3/4 of the way down the dogs spine. I’ve never had an issue with any of my dogs with fleas or ticks, the product clearly works well. I will continue to utilize this product loyally and with trust. We recommend storing FRONTLINE Brand Products at room temperature and keeping them sealed in their original packaging. If stored under these conditions, FRONTINE Brand Products will not expire. **Q: If my dog is 22 do I buy up to 22 or go to the second category 23 up?** A: I am in the same situation. I have found that the smaller dose is not effective. But the 23 and up does the trick. **Q: Is this Waterproof** A: Yes, but the product must dry before a bath or swimming. “Waterproof” is also listed on the front of package. **Q: Does it actually work ?** A: We've used this product in the past and it worked, and we live on a corner and have our dogs in the country and camping in wooded areas. If I remember correctly, it won't kill adult fleas, but prevents them from reproducing and I believe the nuts as well.
