Which Griots DA polisher do you own? If you own the 6" one then no unless you switch out the backing plate. These pads are 5.5" so there is about .5" over hang from the backing plate. Unless you want to risk scratching the paint on the car your trying polish. Switch to a 5" backing plate and your good to go. The other Griots polisher is a 3". Now you don't have enough backing plate. You again could get away with using it but I feel where the 2" has no backing plate the pressure won't be the same thus leaving you with a uneven polish. Again, some might disagree and say your tottally fine using it. Just my IMHO. I would just switch out the backing plate to a 5". Grab a cold beer and call it a day. **Q: Will these work with a black & decker wp900 6” orbital waxed?** A: Unfortunately they would not. The Black and Decker orbital operates with bonnets, whereas these pads operate with a hook and loop attachment. **Q: What pads does it come with? Doesnt say what each pad is for** A: It comes with everything you see. The orange is for compound, white is for glazing and removing swirl marks, black is for wax. You can also go on YouTube search chemical guys and they will even demonstrate the various pads for you. **Q: how is it attached to the polisher?** A: I have a Porter Cable dual action 7424XP. I understand these pads use Velcro to attach, bu the backing pad for the Porter Cable, does not have Velcro. Is there a Velcro backer pad that I can buy to use? ## Frequently Bought Together - Chemical Guys HEX_3KIT_5 5.5" Buffing Pad Sampler Kit, 4 Items, (1) 16 oz Polishing Pad Cleaner + (3) 5.5" Buffing Pads that Work with 5" Backing Plates - Chemical Guys GAP11616 C4 Clear Cut Correction Compound (Paint Correction - Fixes Scratches, Swirls & Holograms), 16 oz. - Chemical Guys CLY_113 OG Clay Bar & Lubber Synthetic Lubricant Kit – 16 fl oz, Light/Medium Duty, for Car Lovers, Detailers & Auto Enthusiasts – Essential Car Detailing Kit Accessory, 2 Items, Yellow --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/39359839-chemical-guys-5-5-in-foam-buffing-pad-kit-3](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/39359839-chemical-guys-5-5-in-foam-buffing-pad-kit-3) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
