This style of flameless candle is capable of being operated by a remote (not included). It also is turned on and off by a button on the bottom, which also activates the timer. Available in 6.25" wide by 7", 10.6", and 15".
- Luminara Flameless LED Moving Flame Grand Pillar Candles are made of real wax with a smooth finish. The melted edge is molded to look like a real candle being burned. They are safer to use than traditional candles, since no actual combustion happens, making them perfect for indoor decoration where you can't monitor them all the time.
- The light is a warm white color encased in a yellow flame designed to be as realistic as possible. It automatically flickers when you turn the candle on, increasing the realism. - Each candle takes 2 D Batteries (purchased separately). When using the timer function, the candle will light up for 5 hours, and then automatically shut off for 19 hours. This is gigantic and terrific. It casts a really nice pattern on the ceiling above as it flickers. It's light enough to look like a candle, but not fakey. It feels like a wax candle and the battery container is very secure. Mine are on a screened in patio, but have had no issues at all with the weather/cold. They are a little (lot) more pricey, but so far I'm feeling like worth every (extra) penny.

The media could not be loaded. The first time I saw these was at Pottery Barn. I had this candle on my wish list forever because I really felt it was a splurge, definitely a want not a need. I finally bit the bullet and bought it. Absolutely no regrets, it is huge, so much bigger than what my minds eye imagined, I’m happy about that as it was for my very large lantern. It look very realistic, it has a timer that has it automatically turn on every evening, uses the large D cell batteries. No regrets with this purchase.
