Review: Great product and price - Unlike others, this tray is thick ceramic and sturdy. I added silicone rings to sandwich the stainless steel mesh to reduce rusting. So far no rust.
Review: Rusty lids - I was initially very happy with the jars and the stands — they look good and work well. Unfortunately, the lids started to rust soon after use. Since these are sprouting jars used directly with food, I was surprised to find that the lids are not made from stainless steel. This raises serious concerns about food safety, and I no longer feel comfortable using them. Products intended for food use should not rust, and materials like this should not be used in the first place.
