Review: Daylight is right - This review is based on the initial installation of the main headlights and the included items. As of now, I'd say these are worth every penny and a no brainer compared to staying with stock lights. I would buy these before investing in any trail lights. I installed the main headlights today. The installation took me one hour and one beer start to finish. I needed a flat head screw driver, a T15 torx bit driver, line man's pliers, utility knife, four blue inline splice clips, and black electrical tape. Everything else came with the kit and felt like OEM quality. I used the flat head screw driver to pop the tabs up on the grill. The torx driver was for the light bracket and to adjust the beam angle. The pliers were to cut about five inches of excess wire from the lines provided to splice into the turn signals and to crimp the splices in place. The splices were used to tap into the turn signal wires. The electrical tape just helps to cover all the connections to resist water. The knife was needed to shave one of the tabs on the light to squeeze it in on the passenger side housing. This only required minor shaving that was about a minute of work. Everything else snapped right in. For example, the adapters did snap in to place on the headlight sockets with a firm push. Some folks said they had trouble with that one. The lights did seem to pattern high. So, I turned the beam adjustment screw two full turns on each side. At about twenty feet from my garage door, I could see some hot spots in the beam pattern. But it was not noticible while driving. After installing I drove to an event where I was bumper to bumper with folks for 20 minutes and police were guiding traffic. I never had any complaints about my new lights. After the trip, there was a small amount of condensation in both headlight assemblies that dissipated quickly when they cooled. I'm assuming this was from a small amount of moisture that got in the lights during shipping from China. I don't see a serious issue with this or a likelihood of leakage in the housing. April 2019 update: I've had these almost two years now and they are still going strong. No leaks. I did have to zip-tie the connections to ensure a solid lock on the driver side head lamp.
Review: Awesome light so far! Absolutely love them! - Have had these lights for a couple of weeks now. For the price, they are AMAZING!!! Pros: Super bright Excellent functionality including the rings flashing yellow on the side when your turning signal is on. Included all the necessary items except the electrical tools and connectors Cons: The instructions are HORRIBLE! Don't bother using them, just you tube it and install it that way Suggestions: 1. Do not cut the cables as per the youtube instructions, get displacement connecting clips so that you don't need to cut the existing clips. 2. When you try to remove the fog lights, you can't due to a sway bar underneath so you will need to remove the plastic cover at the bottom of the grill. You need to remove the two plastic clips that hold it in place. It was impossible to remove them without drilling them out but I got new ones at NAPA for $5. 3.Make sure that you aim the lights!!! I did a test drive where people were beeping at me and flashing me for blinding them. Once I adjusted them, things are good now and they as SOOO bright. I love these lights! 4. The instalation will take at least an hour. Don't let these you tube guys make you think it will be less. I put my front tires on the little ramps which made it alot easier to get to the screws at the bottom. That said, it would have been better to get the fog light screws out through the top by removing the before mentioned plastic cover early. Hope this helps!

**Q: in the video it says that you have to splice the wires into the turn signal but is there instructions on how do that exactly?**
A: If you want to do a hack job and give yourself corroded wires later you'll use a scotch lock (aka wire tap). Another option which I did to my sister's Jeep was made individual harness for the Halo and the turn signals, I don't know your level of ability but if you want to simplify that without hacking the factory harness. Then buy the turnsignal T Harness (factory harness plugs into one side, it plugs into the turnsignal like the factory one did and there will be one remaining side unused), Heat shrink butt connectors, snip off the connector that's not being used and find which wire does parking lights (Halo) and which does the turnsignal. And the extra wire that most likely won't be needed make sure there are bare metal no strands free fold it over it's self put a piece of heat shrink on it and that will remain protected and out of the way. There are many ways to do it.

**Q: I plan on wiring the the drls to fuse box. can i wire all four halos to one wire then to fuse box? then ambers to relative turn signal.**
A: My Jeep doesn't have seat heaters, so I used the empty "M9" fuse bank that was meant for the heaters. I bought an "add a fuse" terminal that plugs into the fuse slot like the normal fuse would. There is a small circular hole near this fuse, so I ran the wire down through that hole and out the bottom of the fuse box for a clean install. I ran all 4 halos off of this one fuse. I placed two 10 amp fuses in the add a fuse and have had no issues running the halos this way. This fuse bank also turns off when the ignition is off, and turns on automatically when I start the vehicle. No worries of draining the battery when parked.

**Q: My 2017 jk does not have drl. what do the halos do when you do not have drl? so sorry if this question was asked and answered already!**
A: I also have a 2017 jk. I ran the extra wire (per included instructions) to have the DRLs work on both the headlights and fogs. I’m assuming if you don’t hook up the DRL wires, the halos only illuminate when the parking lights are turned on and flash amber when using the turn signals. Also, I only use the fog lights and halo headlights at night. The headlights are so bright, oncoming cars flash their high beams at me. But I love them. The only other issue was when installing the headlights, the tabs on the passenger side light are a bit off. I had to make the notches in the receptacle bigger with a utility knife for a proper fit.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great visibility, great look – minor wiring required

These headlights work great. Nighttime visibility is a huge improvement and they look fantastic on the car — modern but still works well with a classic setup. They weren’t exactly plug-and-play in my case. I added an H4 harness and also wired in the turn signal, which required a bit of soldering. Nothing complicated if you’re comfortable with basic wiring, but worth mentioning so others aren’t surprised. Overall, build quality is solid, light output is excellent, and once installed they’ve been trouble-free. Very happy with the purchase and would definitely recommend if you’re okay with a little extra wiring.
