There is a clock but some other newer books have garlands, flowers, etc. Nice designs, tho, which could inspire for other applications. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Paper Craft Crazy! *by J***R on Reviewed in the United States on January 7, 2013* I love paper crafting and have a craft room full of supplies. What I needed was some ideas and inspirations. When I saw this book I bought it because of the purse and card on the cover. I knew it would have amazing stuff in it....and it did! There is something for everyone and every occasion! And it's all very doable. I love that it's not all just cards...there are tags, bags, boxes, and more!!! Each project has a list of supplies and directions....and there are some patterns too (if you can figure out how to print them off at the right size). The book tells you what percentage to enlarge the patterns too, but I'm not that smart...lol.I am not a beginner, but not advanced either. Always learning new things. I saw a review from a beginner that commented on not knowing some of the techniques and lack of direction. I haven't read all of the projects, but from what I have seen, it appears to not have any techniques that need explanation that you can't figure out by looking at the pictures. But if you do find something you don't understand, just go to YouTube.com and you should find a video that will teach you....I do that all the time.I love everything about this book and highly recommend to anyone that loves paper crafting. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great compendium of ideas *by A***R on Reviewed in the United States on November 6, 2006* Beginner and seasoned card makers/crafters will all find items in here to spark the imagination and get the creative juices flowing. I am pacing myself and reading it a little at a time. It's organized by theme, though, so if you want to go straight to the Easter or Halloween sections, it's easy to do so. Best of all, it's not strictly about cardmaking; there are a lot of party throwing tips and other fun things to make up (gift baskets, mini albums, table decor, gift tags). It's definitely a companion piece to PaperCrafts' Tips and Techniques book, which goes into more detail onto how to actually do the stamping/bleaching/cutting techniques often used in paper crafting.
