It does have an over spray issue, as the formula goes into the air, not just on the brush. So it can end up on your wall or vanity. I've learned to hang a towel, and put the brush in front of the towel, then when I spray , the extra just goes on the towel, which can be washed. That is the only negative I have for this product. Using the primer first helps. You can add a 2nd coat for heavier coverage. But it isn't necessary for everyday use.
