This product is recommended highly for knives, while SMOOTH-KOTE is recommended for internal firearms parts. The first one I got leaked 1/3 into its packaging. But I could still use the remaining 2/3 (it still slowly leaks out its back though). The second one arrived in perfect condition and still remains in its dry packaging. As a CDLP, it does the job to clean and lubricate my Spyderco and Benchmade folding knives.
