I lost most of my hair thanks to COVID 4 years ago & what did come back, grew sideways & a mass of snarls - i tried everything from the shampoo & conditioner bars to leaving in rinse-out conditioner - nothing worked - i was desperate - my hair frizzed every moment every day - then i found Giovanni - the price is right - smells good - lathers great - smoothing moisturizer in both the shampoo & conditioner made me a believer - thanks Giovanni! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Smooth as silk shampoo - my favorite! *by on Reviewed in the United States July 5, 2025* I love the Smooth as Silk shampoo - it leaves my hair feeling silky smooth, but also clean without any residual greasiness.Just a note - I have thick, curly hair; my partner has thin, short, straight hair; my mom has thin, wavy hair; it works for all of our hair types.I enjoy the the scent. It's like a nice light grapefruit scent but isn't overwhelming at all, and I'm typically sensitive to any added fragrance. The thickness of the shampoo is nice, it pours in a ribbon so it is easy to transfer into other bottles. The gallon jug lasts my household well over 6 months, and that's with 4 people using it at least 2-3 times a week. The value, quality, results, scent, and consistency are unmatched. I have been thrilled with all the GIOVANNI products I've tried. I will be buying over and over again! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stops thinning *by on Reviewed in the United States September 7, 2026* I love this shampoo. It even stops thinning and smooth out the frizes ## Frequently Bought Together - GIOVANNI Smoothing Castor Oil Shampoo – All Hair Types, Moisturize Hair & Scalp, Hydrate & Tame Frizz, Jojoba, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Keratin - 13.5 oz - Giovanni Smoothing Castor Oil Conditioner - All Hair Types, Moisturize Hair & Scalp, Hydrate & Tame Frizz, Jojoba, Argan Oil, Coconut Oil, Shea Butter, Keratin - 13.5 oz - GIOVANNI Smoothing Castor Oil - 100% Pure, All Hair Types, Naturally Nourish Skin, Moisturize Hair & Scalp, Reduces Frizz & Helps Rebond Split Ends - 8.5 oz --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.hr/products/394633292-giovanni-soothing-castor-oil-shampoo-13-5-oz](https://www.desertcart.hr/products/394633292-giovanni-soothing-castor-oil-shampoo-13-5-oz) --- *Product available on Desertcart Croatia* *Store origin: HR* *Last updated: 2026-10-28*
