Review: great product, better customer service - not only is this the best core remover on the market, I wanted to share the great customer service I got from Appion. I bought this core remover a year ago, and recently due to some idiocy, I ended up breaking the ball valve. I tried disassembling it and fixing it but couldnt get it to seal reliably. I reached out to Appion to see if they sold the ball valve and stem piece that holds it but I did not expect a response. a couple months go by and I noticed they said they would be happy to send me the pieces that were broken at no charge a couple days after I contacted them. I quickly responded back thinking that I had missed my chance, but they responded right away and shipped it out same day. HVAC specific tools are really expensive these days and you need a lot of them so having a company stand behind their products and supporting customers after purchase is such a breath of fresh air. I will probably be switching to appion for a lot of my new purchases because of this. if anyone from appion is reading this, Kara was amazing and very understanding when I failed to respond to her email for months! Pulled good vacuum with no issues. I don’t have manifold gauges so I added a suction gauge to this and I use it as a core remover or as a manifold. **Q: Does this tool come with seals already inside it? I received some seals with the tool and wasn’t sure if it was only for rebuilding or installing myse** A: My tool came with the seals. I didnt receive any additional seals. **Q: Is this gen 2 which has magnetic base and adjustable tip?** A: It has a magnetic base. I don't know anything about the adjustable tip.
