Promotes lathering better than using the bars on their own. I bought it to hold the crumbles of my bars as I use them and they break apart. It lathers so well though I think I will put brand new bars in them as well. Size is good and fits the bars well. Seems to be durable and is easy to put my hand through the loop when I use it.
