I have tried pulling it out over and over but it will not budge.** A: First make sure you have disconnected the gear shift boot. You have to put the gear into Neutral. For safety, put the Emergency Brakes on as well. Then while the gear is in N, hold the gear shift button down and pull upward on the handle simultaneously. You will have to pull very firmly. This was disengage the gear shift knob from the rod. There are videos on YouTube as well that demonstrates this. It’s super easy. **Q: Will this fit a 2014 genesis coupe 2.0T?** A: you can input your make and model and amazon should say whether it fits. that's how i knew it would fit my car. however astetically it does not fit. finishes do not match and its way to small. **Q: Does this knob come w/ instruction to separate and remount the boot?** A: No it does not. YouTube does not show you it either. I figured it out on my own. All you do is take the boot and pull the handle through it a bit. You will need a screwdriver to pop it off. It's ok if you break the clip that hold it on. The new handle will have them. Just be careful not to rip the boot. **Q: How does the knob come off the shaft?** A: I couldn’t get mine off... that’s why I returned knob that I purchase. I even looked on YouTube... still no understanding ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fixed the 'Key Stuck In Ignition' Issue for me *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on 1 July 2021* Fixed the 'Key Stuck In Ignition' Issue for me.Took off the previous shift knob by simply putting car in Neutral and pulling up on shift knob (pull straight up pretty hard).Was able to replace original shifter with this product, exact OEM match. Need to use a screwdriver to lift 2 tabs that are inside the original shift knob plastic ring in order to remove the leather boot from the previous knob before applying the boot to the new shifter knob. Just insert the screwdriver and push around for the two tabs and lift them so that the boot can be released, then place the new boot on the new knob as best as you can.Key is no longer stuck in ignition with new knob. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 2013 Hyundai Sonata *by A***Y on Reviewed in the United States on 1 August 2021* Replaced broken knob for 2013 Hyundai Sonata. ### ⭐⭐ Great product, misleading compatibility *by S***D on Reviewed in the United States on 24 June 2021* Heads up to folks: this does *not* fit the 2015 Sonata (SE 2.4L version, at least). The parts are just slightly different, as my original shifter was slightly shorter and had an inset notch on the inside that slides onto the shaft properly.
