Product is as thin as xmas gift wrap paper. *by D***M on Reviewed in the United States on June 20, 2022* I expected paper. It's "paper", but more akin to glossy christmas gift wrap - not quite that flimsy, but still. It remains to be seen how well the product holds up to use in a game, but I can already tell I must be fairly careful when writing/drawing on it, for fear of tearing (admittedly I can be rather ham-fisted). The glossy surface holds pencil and pen marks, but pen smears easily at first, and must be allowed to sit a moment.Surprisingly, art markers hold up ok, as long as you give it a moment to set in place, so that may still work well.If you need a product for fine detail work, or want the results to last, I cannot recommend this product. If only for daily gaming use, it should be adequate. ### ⭐ Most Markers won't work! *by L***S on Reviewed in the United States on July 19, 2019* The paper is super thin, and also waxy on the printed side. This means that most markers, and even some pens, will smudge easily. I've only had luck drawing on this in Crayon.The paper is also very thin, so any pens/pencils that do stay put easily tear the paper.I will not be buying this again. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Ideal for my purpose *by T***S on Reviewed in the United States on October 21, 2020* I glued a sheet of this down on a piece of cardboard; it is in the process of becoming a map for my RuneQuest Gloranatha campaign now. The price is good, I have plenty left for future projects, and the blue lines defining the hexes are just right. I have found heavy black lines on hex paper distracting.
