Size 1 would be for someone who has 2 or less kids. The size two cup is thicker so more effort is needed to insert it and get use to it but the sealing and effectiveness is unmatched. Once it’s in I didn’t feel it move or worry about an overflow as I did with size one. You can still use a panty liner for added security but you won’t need it if you insert the cup correctly. I had a lot of leakage with the size 1 cup and it didn’t seal properly. Thankfully I keep underwear in a extra makeup bag in my purse. I would highly recommend this product. It’s saved me so much money from not having to buy tampons or maxi pads, no odor and no irritation from using it. Easy to clean and store in your bag discreetly with some wipes. The removal stick broke away from the cup a short while after purchase.
