But I've had a head cold from sinusitis and vertigo but I still survived the trip and did not feel nauseous at all so I'm inclined to give credit to the patches. I'll also be using this product for future road trips (although they're few and far between). If it ever fails us in the future, I'll make sure to update my rating and review. Disclaimer - We used fresh patches for the return trip even though it was within 48 hours and this patch is supposed to be effective for 3 days. I just did not want to risk our health for the sake of testing the product. EDIT nov 2022: went on a month long trip with family, many of them prone to motion sickness. The ones who wore patches never fell sick but those who didn't wear them did experience motion sickness. On the return trip everybody wore the patches and no one fell sick. We wore 2 patches per person - one behind each earlobe i.e. behind the bottom part of the ear. No use it won't even help with a 2 hour drive it's that useless. I used 3 patches one in naval and 2 behind ears but I still felt nausea.
