It worked great for this purpose. The shirt is soft and comfortable, despite the zippers. I held my passport in the front pocket and cash/bank card at the shoulder. The lower pocket is not very useful.However, I'm not sure about the quality. The seam at one of the pockets came undone after just a couple days of wear, so I contacted the seller and replaced the shirt. My second shirt has been just fine, and I haven't had any problems with it.I normally wear medium shirts, and I bought a Large of this.
