Review: Good natural tune - Very natural, great for the price no cons at all. I have a high level competition car audio system for frame of reference. I am using a very nice inexpensive dongle DAC FOSI audio DS2 to drive them. I think these would be even better with a non dongle DAC where there was a little breathing room with more power but considering the low cost of this combo I am extremely pleased. You could listen to these a very long time with no fatigue. This is not for bassheads. This is not for people that turn up the treble and think that it adds detail (harsh). Just nice natural tonality. This is great finding something that is good value and performance.
Review: Worth it - I was looking for good quality studio quality headphones. I have the Shure earbuds and they have lasted many years with no real issues and have great sound quality so I decided to purchase these and see how it went. I wasn’t disappointed. Very comfortable and sturdy construction. The sound quality is crisp and detailed. The chord length is 10 feet so you won’t have any issue with length. The size can fit any head I would assume with many adjustments available. Would recommend.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: are they comfortable?**
A: The Gen 2 - SRH840-A is NOT comfortable at all, if your head size is average or above average size because it won't fit your head properly. It's their biggest design flaw that make them unusable.

**Q: good for metal?**
A: Yes, it covers a good range with the bas and clear enough to distinguish voice and guitar.

**Q: are they good for overdubbing?... i want headphone that dont leak when recording a singer while he listens the backing track.**
A: They have good quality for not being on max volume, and they wont fall off that easy, but if you put the max volume (and you migth need to if you wanna lisin to all the detals, at least in my own expirience) it will leak out a little. If you got a good mic, it should not pick background noise. (if you are worried that the sound from your headphones migth catch up, you should get a shure mic instead of the headphones :p )

**Q: are they good for recording? i dont want the sound of the metronome or backing track to leak into the mic**
A: They are excellent for recording and mixing live bands. I use them when I'm working sound and for general listening. These are not weak headphones and require a strong signal. Weak amplification from devices at full volume will produce distortion. Also, I've owned my pair for TWO years now and they still operate perfectly!
