First, the strings are cheap. They break easily. They did include a replacement set, but we are already through most of those as well. Further, our guitar teacher stated that the frets are off so it will be out of tune the further down you go on the frets. We took it into a guitar repair shop who confirmed the issue. The frets are spaced improperly. They tried to file some parts down to make it the best they could. That was another 50 dollars. Conclusion, this guitar looks nice but that is about it. If you are seriously looking to learn how to play the guitar then I suggest paying a little more to get a good guitar. We paid almost 100 dollars for this, and more since to replace strings and fix the frets in an attempt to optimize it the best we could. Paying more upfront for a good working guitar with correct fret placement is the best thing to do. I guess we will know better next time. Don't waste your money unless you are looking for a decoration for your room.
