Don't think for a second that your garlic chopping needs will be covered by this product, because they won't. What happens is, you smash the garlic through the little holes, and then all of it gets gunked up on the other side where it comes out. This means you have to take a knife and scrape/cut all the garlic off from the bottom of the tool. Not only that, there is a thin layer of mashed garlic that is left on the top side of the grill holes, and you also have to scrape that out with a knife, and then chop it up because it didn't get diced through the holes...What is the point? The bottom of the part with the holes (basket) has domed out, preventing the flat plunger from squeezing out all the garlic placed in the little basket. Garlic squeezes out from the gaps around the unit as well. The garlic that does make it through the little holes is nice and creamy smooth.
