## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this made of cotton or polyester?**
A: It's a slick polyester. It's much less pleasant than the cotton ones they replaced on our Smith+Noble shades. I'm now looking for cottony ones

**Q: is this strong enough for wood slatted blinds**
A: This 2.7mm size loop is not made for wood blinds. Here is a helpful but not exact tool. With a number 2 pencil wrap the cord around 4 times. Push the cord together tight. And this should measure 1/2" when using unworn cord.

**Q: How do you replace cord ?**
A: it can be slightly complicated.  my louvered blinds had a combination of two wheels that I had to weave the cord thru to allow it to be pulled from either angle.  not sure what you are dealing with so it's a tough question to answer....except the standard....google it!

**Q: Can the cord be cut to make custom size? If yes, do you glue or melt the ends together?**
A: Not recommended.  They can ordered in different lengths so order the exact length you need.
