I say bowl, but it's actually the shape and design of the top of a skull- a bit creepy if that's what you are going for. It would have been nice to have instructions, at least an estimate of the volume needed to fill the piece, since I had quite a bit of spillage trying to guess how much resin to use. It's also a bit awkward to insert the inner part of the bowl/skull, I couldn't get it to seal properly and was left with rough edges. You also need to fill the base mold pretty high or it will be tippy and the base and main part will need to be glued together, it won't stand on its own. That said, I think I will eventually get the hang of this one. The silicone is pretty sturdy and no issues with cleaning, though it was really hard to demold.
