Sad to see it go! *by B***E on Reviewed in the United States on March 19, 2016* Okay, I can't tell you how sad I was that this series was ending. Or how happy I was that they got a chance to do an actual ending to the story-line. In some ways it felt a little rushed and in other ways the pacing of the whole series as far as I was concerned was fast so why should the last season be any different?I won't give anything away but I just have to say that every story has to have a protagonist and an antagonist. More often than not multiples of each and the character Pope has done his fair share or being both during the run of Falling Skies. My kudos to Colin Cunningham for playing the part so well - showing everything from a surprising kindness to the somewhat whack job that Pope was.Everyone has their opinion, personally I absolutely loved the series and the twists and turns it took throughout until the end. I am a bit embarrassed to say I watched this whole show (I watch while working out so am a captive audience...my excuse). From start to finish, this show felt like it was written by a 6th grader who just roughed it out in a last-minute hurry. The acting is terrible, but, to be fair, they didn't have much to work with. The costume budget seemed decent but the aliens were strange, parts looked cool, parts seemed dug out of the trash of a B-movie set. The fifth season arrived on time and in new condition. It's fun to collect the entire series and then have a marathon, but with this series I couldn't wait as I'd seen a few episode on TV.
